We have all heard the stories. Young black girls being teased, banned or even being expelled for their natural hair.
Ariane Roberts of Black Naps created a children’s book to inspire young girls. “Jamie Loves Her Natural Hair” promotes loving natural beauty from the start.
A Kickstarter has been set up to make this book come to life.
The colorful and creative illustrations catch the eyes of young readers and will teach them at the same time.
