One of my go to treats is a simple banana smoothie with a bit of honey.
I haven’t had one in a while but thought I would try something different with frozen bananas to satisfy my sweet tooth.
This recipe is so simple. Really. . .
Here is what you need:
Each serving will need about 2 bananas.
Blender
Additional toppings such as peanuts, almonds.
I decided to use some granola I had in the cabinet.
Slice up the bananas like showed in the picture and put slices in the freezer for about an hour and 30 mins.
When you first blend it it will look like pebbles but keep blending and ever so often mix it with a spoon back around the blades of the blender. It will soon begin to blend.
I then added a little bit of almond butter and topped it off with some granola.
And tayy dahhh thats it.
Simple huh? and its delicious! wonderful alternative to ice cream š
