Soft Sheen Carson’s Let’s Jam
Many of us know about this good old classic product. For those that don’t, Let’s Jam is considered to be a styling gel for dressing the hair. I personally, dont consider it a gel. I love this product because it does not have any acohol in it. With this being said, it does not dry the hair out, make it hard or flake up. It just provides what you want in a dressing. Which is shine, a curl booster and hold. I have been using this product since I was a teenager. No matter what products I use, I always come back to this one.
A lot of this product goes a long way. Not much is needed to acheive what its purpose is.
Let’s Jam comes in Light, Regular and Extra Holds. I personally use the Green top (regular hold)
Price Point: $2.99-$4
Where to Buy: Target, Walmart, Sallys, CVS, Walgrees and various Indepedent beauty supply stores
Cantu
Cantu Leave In Shea Moisture Conditioning creme works wonders. Not only is it a light cream, but it provides conditoning treatments that stay in the hair. Leave in Conditioners as mentioned before are great because they are allowed to sit and stay in the hair. This gives it better ablities to keep it soft and moisturized. If you wear twist sets (i.e. two strands, chunky twists) This creme is perfect to add as you are twisting and setting a new style. This product also does not leave any unsightful residue, hardness or dry look to the hair.
Price Point: $3-5
Where to Buy: Target, Walmart, Walgreens, Sally’s Beauty Supply and various Independent Beauty Supply stores
